Can you put roofing tar and roof cement in a dumpster?

Covers: Roofing tar and roof cement (wet or in cans)

Usually not

Short answer: Not while it's wet or still in the bucket. Cured roofing debris is fine.

Why

Bagster lists chemicals and liquids as unacceptable, and Dumpsters.com prohibits adhesives, which can glue debris to the container walls. Cured shingles and roofing debris are accepted.

What to do with it instead

Let small amounts cure fully. Take full containers to HHW.
